Chicago’s violence has claimed the lives of hundreds over the last few years; but one concealed carry holder refused to join the body count.
The Chicago Tribune reported that a 27-year-old man was walking to his silver Nissan in a Target parking lot when a 21-year old approached him proceeded to take out his gun, and demand money. The would-be victim knew he had firearms inside the car so he convinced the man to come in the car with him; a risky move that paid off.
Once inside the car, the owner of the Nissan pulled out his semi-automatic and shot the 21-year-old and shot the man in the chest and the back. The man was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
The owner of the Nissan fled the scene and returned hours later to speak to the police and was taken into custody.
A local resident told The Chicago Tribune that he’s lived in Chicago for 40-years and every year it is getting a little bit worse.
