Connecticut Man Shoots Career Car Thief In The Jaw

A 17-year old car thief from New Britain, Connecticut with years of experience under his belt, stole a 2001 Ford Taurus on Monday morning and thought he got away with it.

That was until the car’s owner went looking for it later on that day and found him and the vehicle on Maple Ave.

As he approached the car, the teenager inside pointed a gun at him, in an instant, the car’s owner pointed his legal firearm out and shot him in the jaw, reported NBC Connecticut.

The teen drove off and abandoned the car a few blocks away and called the police to report his gunshot wound.

He was transported to Hartford Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
