A female homeowner in Montgomery, Texas was visibly shaken on Monday night when police removed the body of a female intruder who she shot and killed.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said that 38-year old Marci Green attempted to break into her neighbor’s house on the night of October 23. The woman living inside heard the break-in, grabbed her gun, called 911 and while she was on still on the phone warned Green to stay out of her house, reported the Montgomery County Courier.
During the call, Green refused to leave the property and fearing that her life was endangered, the homeowner let out a single gunshot hitting Green in her abdomen.
Police declared her dead at the scene. The homeowner was not injured.
