An armed 7-Eleven employee thwarted a burglar who was attempting to steal money and two packs of cigarettes on October 9.
The attempted robbery happened at 2 A.M when 30-year old Clinton Abraham Frazer pulled a knife out on the 56-year old clerk and started to approach him. He demanded the cashier fork over money and swiped two packs of cigarettes, reported The Williamsburg Yorktown Daily.
Acting fast, the clerk pulled out his concealed carry and Frazer immediately fled the scene.
No shots were fired but the police were called and Frazer was captured hours later and charged with petit larceny and felony armed robbery.
