At a sleepy Bavarian Village Apartment complex in Indianapolis, Indiana, a resident shot and killed a 20-year old man he accused of trying to rob him.
WISHTV reported that police found the armed robber dead at the scene, the man who shot him was cooperating with police and stated that the incident was completely in self-defense.
Neighbors of the shooter claim that despite the fact that the complex is considered a gated community, the apartment management always leaves them open. They’re hoping this shooting changes all that and security is beefed up.
“I guess it was a good idea for them to have protection because the gates around here are always open,” said Bavarian Village Apartments resident Chan Brown to WISHTV.
