It was a robbery gone wrong. Malcolm Williams approached two people on Saturday at a parking lot in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and threatened them unless they turned over their cell phones.
Williams told the two people he was armed and would shoot them if they didn’t hand over their phones. Both complied but after he had their phones, one of the victims took out a gun and shot Williams in the arm, reported The Advocate.
After receiving the injury Williams fled the scene on foot leaving a long track of blood and the cell phone belonging to the victim.
He ended up at a nearby hospital and was arrested on one count of armed robbery.
