Michigan Man Shoots Home Invader to Protect His Infant Son

At approximately 8 pm on Thursday night, a man entered a home in Redford Township, Michigan demanding property from a young woman caring for an infant child.

“He went in, my nanny was sitting there with the baby,” the homeowner’s girlfriend said to WYXZ Detroit.

During the encounter, the homeowner and his girlfriend returned to his residency to discover the strange man threatening their baby and the nanny. The two began fist fighting and the girlfriend, nanny, and baby fled.

The burglar then attempted to flee the scene when the homeowner took out his gun and fired it 10 times, hitting him once in the hand.

He was later arrested and brought to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
