A hungry burglar found himself on the wrong side of a homeowner’s gun after he broke into his house and helped himself to a serving of ribs, half a chicken breast, a pickle, an energy drink and some cookies.
The La Crosse Tribune reported on August 25 that 31-year-old Kenneth Fish broke into a Westby, Wisconsin home and woke the woman living there.
She saw a shadow figure down the hall and called her husband to grab his gun, alerting Fish who ran out of the sliding door and onto the patio and where the homeowner was waiting with an unloaded rifle.
Fish begged for his life and the homeowner made him lay on the ground until the police came. He has several prior arrests dating back to 2011.
